After knowing the writer the truth behind the incident of the "pearl necklace" he was super surprised and shocked he also tried to make Mr.Kelada tell everyone the truth but he refused that completely, in the next evening the narrator a nd Mr.Kelada went to the bar to celebrate approaching the end of the trip, they sat close to a group of men, who were talking about the "necklace incident" and they were talking in a bad way about Mr.Kelada so the narrator became angry and spoke loudly about the truth of what happened Shock appeared on everyone's faces and they started whispering about why this necklace might exist with Mrs. Ramzi, especially since her husband is not of the upper class. The next morning, this news reached Mr. Ramzy and he went angry to inquire his wife about this news, hoping that it was all a lie. After a long discussion, the wife admitted her betrayal of her husband during the period of lefting her in NewYork, to end this story with the divorce of the couple.
