THE PROJECT

context

This project aims at projecting a new concept of hospital where the workflow is Pathology and Patient centered. The importance of diagnostics in the therapeutic process is decisive for the clinical situation of the patient and for the definition of the most appropriate therapy.

Scientific progress has also involved Anatomic Pathology, with the continuous development of innovative analysis methodologies, technologies and instruments, in order to make the final diagnosis faster and more reliable.

At the current state of the art, hospitals have problems on different fields: from the organizational flows, to the green area, in the empathic one and in the technological field.

Another problem that can be encountered is the attention to pathological diagnostics, which operates "undercover", thus leading to little attention in its organization.

The organization of flows is essential within a hospital to understand where you are in a building and to create a system that does not hinder the work of a doctor. It is therefore necessary that the paths and maps are clear and provided with colors and symbols

In addition to areas used for recycling, by inserting green areas inside the hospital we can guarantee a more peaceful environment for the patient, such as places outside the hospital, like gardens.

Empathy

Empathically, many argue that the colors, smell and aesthetics of the hospital is one of the reasons for creating an austere atmosphere once you enter the building. On this basis we have designed a hospital that puts the patient in a good mood, an essential aspect for the mental well-being of a patient diagnosed with a pathology.

In an era in which technology is becoming more and more a part of our daily life, it is therefore necessary for a hospital to have its own website and the technological devices necessary in the hospital to optimize the work and well-being of patients.

Misdiagnosis, as well as delayed diagnosis, affects hospital quality. Twelve million patients die every year due to delayed diagnosis or misdiagnosis.

Misdiagnosis or even delayed diagnosis can prevent proper treatment, delay recovery or extend hospitalization, and can even cause death.
