The students are presented with the topic and are asked to brainstorm as to what language and linguistic features they would expect to need in order to complete the task successfully so as to activate their previous knowledge and to actively engage all students. They are given clear instructions so as to clarify the aim of the tasks Time: 10 minutes

Brainstorming vocabulary: Teacher divides the group in two teams and gives them 4 minutes to match the objects according to each room on the picture on the board. Students play a relay race to the board. Teacher plays the Mission Impossible theme song to add excitement to the task. The team that matches more correct objects wins.

To keep practicing the structure and vocabulary in context as well as learning about the topic, students will watch a video on how to design a vacation home and they will discuss about the video and the rooms they could see in the video. Then students will play a Kahoot: They will answer questions about the video (practice there is/there are, vocabulary, and listening comprehension practice). Time: 20 minutes

Now it is time to choose your ideal house for your holidays. We will divide the class into 4 groups of 2, and give them different locations and holidays plans. Besides, students will be given different Airbnb options with houses/flats descriptions for them to choose the most suitable place for their holidays. Students need to ask questions to each other about the house descriptions, and then analyse, assess, and select the best options. This would be a more controlled practice. Therefore, a guide will be provided. (Students can take into consideration: Location of the accomodation, ammenities, price, cancellation policies, is it pet friendly? Check out time) Time: 15 minutes
