Le past simple indique qu'une activité ou situation a commencé et fini dans le passé Quand une phrase contient le mot "WHEN", le "when" s'utilise avec l'action brève " David was studying when we he met Anna". Quand une action était en train de se passer dans le passé, on utilise le past continuous Par ex. avec while > action continue donc past continuous While I was studying he came into my room. While I was studying, you were drawing.
