WHAT IS A COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVE?

SHORT DEFINITION

A comparative adjective is used to show change or make comparisons between two or more things

santiago is more crowded than antofagasta

in the example, we can see the use of the ADJECTIVE "crowded" in the COMPARATIVE FORM.

VALPARAISO IS DIRTIER THAN VIÑA DEL MAR

in this example, we can see the use of the ADJECTIVE "dirty" in the COMPARATIVE FORM.

santiago is older than antofagasta

again, in the example we see the ADJECTIVE "old" used in the COMPARATIVE FORM "older"

so, how do we form comparative adjectives?

Comparatives are formed by separating ADJECTIVES into SYLLABLES.
