When do we use the present perfect?

We use the present perfect to talk about:

1. Life experiences

An action that has happened in the past and we don't mention when exaclty has happened, we don't specify the time. Why? Because we focus on the action , on the experience rather than on the time.I have seen blue whales from a very short distance in the ocean. She has visited Disneyland many times.

2. Actions that started in the past and still continue in the present

We also use the present perfect to talk about recent actions that have finished and that have a visible result in the present
