Chapter 7-The Woods

It's the next day, nine in the morning, and both of us, me and Rachel, as agreed, we meet in front of the vineyards to go out into the woods. The closer we get to the interior of the woods, we start to feel, more and more cold. We were starting to get tired, when we found something unusual. It was a large metal box covered by large and dense branches of trees. Me and Rachel, took the branches of trees away from the box. And then I began to try to open it. - I can't open it!- I insist. The big metal box refusses to open as I try harder and harder to put all my strength on opening it. - Can' t you see!? You need a key to open it idiot!- Said Rachel, furiously. -We need to find the KEY, that opens this, before we can see what's inside.- She repeated. - But, how? We've came this far only to find another clue?My vacations, are almost over, I don't have time for that!!- I said desperately.

WE NEED TO FIND THIS

I was loving this adventure, but I was running out of time! We needed to find a solution quickly!

Chapter 7- The Woods

As we go back to the house disappointed, we see Rob, in the other edge os the woods. He also sees us and approaches us.- So, what are you little fellas doing here this early?- He asked. - I was going to ask you the same question, what are you doing here?- I ask, obviously annoyd by his presence. - Oh, that! Yeah, lately I've been receiving these weird messages, that I think, are about the girl that owned this house in the first place. Crasy right? The latest meassage, was an order for me to go into the woods to find something, but all I could find, that was interesting was this... And in the isntant that he took his hand out of his jeans pocket, it was there, the KEY, that me and Rachel were searching for!!

Chapter 8-The Discovery

How could Rob know about all of this? Me and Rachel looked at each other unbelievers. And then, we finally broke the silence, and then we told Rob that I have been receiving these messages as well. And that we found a big metal box that could be opened by that key.-That's so cool!- exclaimed Rob, like a little kid. -The three of us can work together and solve the mystery! What do you think?- He asked. Me and Rachel, look at each other, both knowing what is going on in each others minds, we hesitate, and then, Rachel says: - Fine to me. -Great! What do you think Jeremy?- Rob asked. I didn't want Rob envolved in this, it was my, and Rachel's mystery, not his! Besides, he is my mum's boyfriend, not my friend! But, of course in contradition of what I was thinking, I needed to be nice to Rob, so I said: - Fine, but only in one condition. You help us public the truth. - Of course I will. You have my word! .

I couldn't believe it!

And then, we enter the woods, once again.

Chapter 8- The Discovery

Once we enter the woods, none of us dares to say a word. When we finally reach the big metal box, as promissed, Rob gives us the key, so we can open the box. Inside, there is two books and another box, this one is smaller. We then return to the house with the two books and the smaller box. - I'm sorry Jeremy, but today I can't help you anymore, I have chores to do. But don't worry, you and Rob can start discovering, and then later you can tell me everything!- Said Rachel a bit sad. -No we can't!- I said desperately. I really wanted to discover this mystery, but I didn't want to be alone with Rob! - We can't because you're our translator!- I said. - Well, then, we will start solving the mystery tomorrow!- She said In the next day Rachel came, and only then we were able to star solving the mystery...

You will never believe in what we found!

Chapter 8- The discovery

So when Rachel traslated all of it for me and Rob, we were chocked! So I'll explain: When Menina Carminho became an orphan, she had her uncle that took care of her, and the house. They lived liked that for two years. But then, everything changed. You see, that duke wasn't a nice guy. One day, he came to meet the small family, and he intended to marry Menina Carminho, and he made her fall in love with him. But what he truly wanted was to take all her fortune away so he killed her! When her uncle found that her beloved niece had been murdered by that arrogant duke, he killed the duke! These two books were written by Menina Carminho's uncle. And the little box that we also found was full of jewelry, that belonged to Menina Carminho! Those three things were put there by Menina Carminho' uncle, he put it all there in memory of her niece.

Chapter 9- Mystery Solved

To discover all of this it took us three days! Rob helped us in this part, he conviced mom to let us stay for more three days (she was happy because me and Rob seemed to finally get along), he also helped with handing the jewelry to the corrent owner of the house, helped publish the truth to the local press, and even helped Rachel to have more time to translate stuff by doing her chores! He isn't that bad after all! It was really great discovering all of this, they even put a photo of the three of us in the newspapper! It was deffinately an unfforgetable trip!

Chapter 9- Mystery Solved

It was the end of this trip, I had to say goodbye to Rachel, but I promiced her we would still be in touch, once I arrive in London. When I finally got home and turn on my computer a message appears:

Thank you for helping me find the truth! Hope you and Rob get along now! Goodbye!
