Were first people to settle in North America. NATIVE AMERICAN'S GROUPS Cherokee Iroquois

- Settled in the forest of southeastern United States.
- They were hunters and farmers.
- They eat meat, fruit, and vegetables.
- They use trees to build houses.

- They settled in the forest of Central and Northern N.Y. and Southern Canada.
- They used the rivers for fishing and traveling.
