WHY are we here?

There are many theories as to how the universe came about - philosophers and scientists alike have puzzled over it for centuries. Here are just a few theories.

philosophy - THE cosmological argument

This argument uses cause and effect. Every event has a cause, which means that the universe must have a cause. The only thing seperate to the universe is God - so only God could have caused the universe to exist. Therefore, as the universe exists so must God.
