Interactivity

Activities should be of sufficient challenge (games, competitions) or based on discrepancy or controversy (debates, research on topics) thus creating a convenient tension that helps keeping the participation and the attention alive.

All activities should formulate learning objectives and identifiable learning outcomes and ouptuts, giving clear orientations for the generation of verifiable knowledge, demonstration of kills and/or development of tangible products embodying knowledge application and showing how the invested effort is productive and goes beyond the activity itself.

It is about creating tasks that provide opportunities for collaboration and interaction. The students form a community that may work in teams, discuss issues, propose ideas and solutions that are built together as a result of continuous sinergy.

Activities should be meaningful and authentic, well contextualized, connected to the social and/or professional sphere, and interesting enough to be perceived and valued by students as relevant to their development.

Proposed activities should require some effort, personal investment, and commitment to others as a way to keep a sustained rythm and increased and visible individual and group progress.
