It is one of the oldest cultures in the world, originating thousands of years ago. The culture prevails in a large geographic region in East Asia and is extremely diverse and varied, with customs and traditions varying between provinces, cities and even villages as well.

CHINESE NEW YEAR
Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, is the grandest festival in China, with a 7-day long holiday. As the most colorful annual event, the traditional celebration lasts longer.
LANTERN FESTIVAL
Lantern Festival, also called Yuan Xiao Festival, is celebrated in China and other Asian countries that honours deceased ancestors on the 15th day of the first month (Yuan) of the lunar calendar. The Lantern Festival aims to promote reconciliation, peace, and forgiveness.
DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL
The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Tuen Ng, it beggins on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. It commemorates the death of Qu Yuan, a Chinese poet and minister known for his patriotism and contributions to classical poetry and who eventually became a national hero.
PEACH BLOSSOM FESTIVAL
A Peach Blossom Festival has occurred each year in Shanghai, coinciding with the peach blossom season. The date falls on March/April each year. They celebrate what they believe the peach blossom represents: women.
NATIONAL DAY
China National Day, is annually celebrated on October 1st to commemorate the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949. Chinese people enjoy a 7-day holiday from Oct. 1st to 7th, which is known as Golden Week.
