Studied in the George P. Phoenix school for African Americans1942 : earned a Bachelor's degree in maths and physical science

• 1953 worked for the engineer Kazimierz Czarnecki, who encouraged her to become engineer.
• Worked in several Nasa divisions and authored 12 technical papers for NASA
