INTRODUCTION

• Attendance Management System is a software developed for daily attendance in schools, colleges and institutions.
• It facilitates to access the attendance information of a desired student in a particular class.
• The information is sorted by the operators, which will be provided by the teacher for a particular class.
• This system will also help in evaluating attendance eligibility criteria of a student.

PURPOSE

The purpose of developing attendance management system is to computerized the tradition way of taking attendance.

Another purpose for developing this software is to generate the report automatically at the end of the session and can save it with your desired extensions.

Economically Feasible:

• The system being developed is economic with respect to school or college's point of veiw.
• It is cost effective in the sense that has eliminated the paper work completely.
• The result obtained contains minimum errors and are highly accurate as the data is required.

Technical and Behavioral Feasibility:

• The technical requirement for the system is economic and it does not use any other additional hardware and software.
• The system working is quite easy to use and learn due to its simple but attractive interface.
• User requires no special training for operating the system.

• It needs most recent version of google chrome, firefox, internet explorer or safari.
• Operating System- Windows (XP, Vista, 7,8,10,11), Mac OS, Linux..
• Internet connection with good speed.

• It is a web based application
• Unlike traditional applications, It is accessible anytime, anywhere via a PC with an good internet connection.
• It needs lower requirements on the end user system and simplified architecture.

• The entire website executes on the XAMPP server.

• In order to maintain the records of students for university of education with accuracy, we will design a better attendance management system and it is considered to be important key behind motivating this project.

• In this way, this system will remove a problem of roll calling and will save the times of teachers as well as the students.

• The primary factors that motivated us to decrease the paper work to save environment and the time constraints in manual work.
• The challenges are making the graphical user interface fun and understandable to work with.

Future scope

• In the future student can also be able to download his/her progress and notes.
• We will see the entire system more interactive and also be able to give statistics data.
• We can run the entire system in any operating system and also we can have an android application of this entire system.
• Highly reliable.

CONCLUSION

This project will help the lecturers to reduce their workload by reducing the time and calaculations required to update the attendance manually.
