What did we pack in our bags? Did we pack items we needed or wanted? Would you be able to carry everything? Why do you have to carry your own bag? What would you be sad to leave behind?
When people flee their homes they leave more than possessions. they sometimes have to leave family. In the book - who does the young child rely on when leaving their country. Where would the other family members be?
