Depth of Knowledge- Levels
Level 3: Strategic Thinking
Level 1: Recall
Student thinking becomes more abstract. Students must use evidence to validate their response.
Students use basic recall of information, does not require any cognitive effort.
Level 2: Skills and Concepts
Level 4: Extended Thinking
Student makes some decisions, generally has more than one mental step
Students must synthesize information and use multiple sources to justify their thought process
