Break the glass ceiling ! Fight for women !

What is the glass ceiling ?

The glass ceiling represent an imaginary limit, a barrier who stop people in their development, generaly WOMEN in our actual society. this obstacle is due to prejudice against women and feminist mention it for the first time in the 70's. This discrimination exist at work, in politics and at home.

At work

Women can't grow up in a company as men do ( you can see it in the graphic at the right ), they are less paid than men ( 17.9 % less in USA) and women have positions assigned to them BECAUSE they are women ! These three main point take a huge place in a career and can change many life if they are resolved ! A job is not for you because you are good at it but because of your gender.

In politics

Many politicians are feminist like Joe Biden, or Marlène Schiappa in France, fights for womens right and for a better representation of women in politics. For exemple Joe Biden recently nominate a black woman named Ketanji Brown Jackson in the American supreme court. WOMEN IN POLITICS ARE ESSENTIAL AND CAN CHANGE THINGS FOR ALL THE WOMEN IN THE WORLD !

At Home

Prejudice gives predefined roles to women at home like doing housework or cooking. BUT, why men can't do more cleaning tasks ? We can break the glass ceiling TOGETHER and it starts at home !
