This piece was made as a tribute to mental health awareness, as well as the harm of the stigmatization of mental disorders. Many times when someone is diagnosed with a disorder, they won’t have much information in regards to their own diagnosis, or what it means; and many times, it’s the same with family, friends, and others. With lack of information, people are more prone to stigmatize those who are struggling with their mental health. “Warped Reflection” represents the heavy, overwhelming impact that stigma from others can bring onto a struggling individual.
