Humanitarian aid is material and logistic assistance to people who need help. It is usually short-term help until the long-term help by the government and other institutions replaces it. Among the people in need are the homeless, refugees, and victims of natural disasters, wars, and famines.

Describe a organisation that entities with a primary responsibility for delivering humanitarian aid during the war You should say: – what organisation is it – why you are interested in it – how it helps (eg. raises money) and explain whether you think it is important for people to get involved in volunteering
