The different between hate speech and freedom of speech:

In according to the European Court of Human Rights: "hate speech is all forms of expresssion which spread, incite, promote or justify hatred based on intolerance". In according to a report by OSCE: "everyone shall have the right to freedpm of speech". So we have the right to disagree with others, but when our opinion became offensive it is hate speech.

It is anti-semitism, aggresive nationalism, to marginalize someone, discrimination against minorities, migrants, sexual orientation etc.

Hate speech is more present on social media (like , , , ) than in real life. For exemple, it possible to create an instagram accout to post sexist, racist, ableist pictures. It is preferred to post online because it's easier to talk trough a screen.
