Learning and understanding new words can be complecated and confusing, but identifying the categories or "classes" can help us with this process
Nouns

A noun is a word to name people, animals, places, objects, and concepts. Nouns are the subjects on senteces, but they can also receive the action or be part of the complement. You can identify a noun if it's on a list: apples, oranges, banannas, __________
Pronouns
A pronoun is a word you use to substitute the name of the subject in the sentence after you mentioned it for the first time. We use them to avoid repetition. "Ana is our new student, she's a doctor! Please give her a nice welcome.

Verbs

A verb is ususlly understood as a physical action, but they also are mental processes (think, consider, imagine) and states (to be, want, love). To create a sentence you need at least a subject and a verb: " I am" "John writes" Verbs and nous are usually close in sentences.

Adjectives
Adjectives describe nouns, they provide additional information. You can identify and adjective because they are: Before the noun "The black dog is running" After a verb Be or verbs related with senses "The dog is black" "That dog looks friendly" "That planssounds amazing"
Adverbs
