Introduction
This workshop is designed to be an interactive introduction to the science of learning. Students will explore the strategies used by effective learners before, during, and after class to maximize their learning efficiency.
Learning Objectives
● Describe the following theories:growth vs fixed mindset; deliberate practice
● Explain the following strategies: spaced repetition; retrieval practice; elaborative interrogation; interleaved practice
● Students will understand how to apply the aforementioned learning theories and strategies to develop a learning routine.
