Gerund after other verbs

admit, avoid, carry on, consider, delay, deny, like, dislike, can't help, enjoy, finish, give up, imagine, include, involve, justify, keep on, mention, mind, miss, practise, risk and suggest.

I don't mind sleeping on the couch.

Your scores got better, keep on studying.

Mike avoids talking about his last job.

Gerund after prepositions

after, before, by, in spite of, on, without.

Killa won't go to the cinema without doing homework first.

In spite of studying a lot he didn't pass the exams.

I will text you before leaving home.

Gerund after adjective + preposition

afraid of, angry about / at, bad at / good at, crazy about, dissapointed about, excited about, famous for, fed up with.

Herman is afraid of failing his final Math exam.

Coco Chanel was famous for designing the "little black dress".

Lola is excited about going to London.

Gerund after adjective + preposition

fond of, glad about, happy about/at, interested in, keen on, proud of, sick of, sorry about/for, tired of, used to, worried about.

Pamela is glad about getting a new job.

Miguel is keen on dancing salsa.

Irina is sick of reading the same posts.

Gerund after special phrases

to be busy, feel like, how about.

Pamela is busy reading a new book.

Nora feels like having chocolate cake.

How about going to the pool later?

Gerund after noun+ preposition

chance of, danger of, difficulty in, doubt about, hope of, idea of, way of, reason for, risk of.

There's a chance of winning the race.

The way of teaching english is through gamification.

Julia has difficulty of learning the alphabet.

Gerund after verb+ preposition

accuse of, agree with, apologize for, believe in, blame for, complain about, dream about /of,

Adele dreams about being a famous singer.

They apologized for being late.

Adjectives with -to infinitive

after certain adjectives: able,unable,anxious, due, eager, keen, likely, unlikely, ready, prepared, willing, unwilling.
