Breakdown of Problem: Collaboration
Based on the secondary research above I divided the collaboration problem into what is known as 5C's of collaboration

I conducted a survey to understand employees and interns take on different work models. I received 30 responses on it.

I chose 3rd C aka Connection as my target. Problem Statement: People working online feel like they are left out of exchanges and decisions and often feel disintegrated from the company. Also it's difficult for such people to form, maintain and sustain mentorisng relationships and social connections.

Track of users participation throughout the week in form of streaks to increase enthusiasm among users.

Option to schedule and organise different types of meetings.
Shows available colleagues for quick call thus increasing opportunity for spontaneous communications
1. Sends notifications and reminders regarding upcoming meetings, meeting invites, breakout rooms etc.

2. Reminds user to log off if he/ she exceeded his/her daily work hour limit, thus ensuring proper work-life balance.
Meet offline with your colleagues who live nearby to increase social interaction.

Reminder System
Default status: Available / online but working / offline / off untill xx dateA user can set staus according to his/her availabilty and also gets option to add custom status. Other colleagues of user can view his status and thus won't disturb the user if he/she is busy
Users can set the number of hours they want to work daily and the system will send them a reminder to log off in case they exceed that. This will help in creating better personal and professional life balance.
The people working at senior positions can organise networking session according to their time availabilty in whole week. All the employees can see which sessions are scheduled in a week and they can join according to their availability.

Conduct surveys in your company asking questions based on 5C's of collaboration
Ask your employees to give grades to all the 5C's.
To personalise the above architecture, the companies can follow these steps:
Conduct the survey on possible solutions to improvise situation in that domain.
Traget the C with lowest grade.
Create experiment setups, for example hybrid work model for 2 months etc. and proceed based on its results. Since its correctly said that an habit is to be established before you improvise it.
