INDIAN ACTOR
- Graphite and mechanical pencil.
An actor who needs no introduction. Made this fan art for Hrithik Roshan.
Portrait.
- Graphite and mechanical pencil.
This is a portrait of the sister of my friend. I focused particularly on the fabric details in this piece.
Poster colour art.
I never thought I would enjoy painting because I was more inclined towards oil pastels and sketch pens as a kid until I met my teacher Vishal Sir who taught me the basics, everything starting from how to hold a brush to how to work your way through details and realism.
After this phase of life, I felt like I enjoyed painting more than just coloring via dry mediums. I got to know that art is a skill set and that anyone can learn it with proper practice and guidance and this is when I considered art seriously.

ARTIST IN THE MAKING
In preparation for writing this write-up, I sat at my laptop, staring blankly at the screen. Then I shifted on the sofa with a pen and paper in hand. I pondered, as describing one’s self-using words isn’t easy, and so is art. I flipped through old journals and sketchbooks to find an answer to my inhibition. I wanted it to be extraordinary, creative, and real. I wanted to interpret precisely how I feel about art and its meaning. I played KR$NA’s “DREAM” and re-read excerpts from ‘The Design of Everyday Things by Donald Norman, yet came up with nothing. Then, in the middle of the day, while listening to a musical riff by Maroon 5 and looking at a picture I had unknowingly scribbled on a page, I realized that the best way to describe my artistic self is just by doing it and being it. I have been a creative spirit for as long as I can remember. Within the space of a square frame, I try to build a world that is undeniably separate from the one in th we live in. What fascinates me about any artistic medium is that it can pull the viewer out of the logical and familiar world and place them within an alive space. Whenever I use a square frame, I hope the viewer will forget that they are looking at an artwork and instead see an alternate universe. This space mixes artistic qualities and abilities with surrealism and fantasy. Why focus on what the artistic medium is when the subjects and concepts are pulling us deeper and deeper into a world that allows us to escape through reality?
It is my goal in art to bring out the best in everything, to show that “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”.My artworks are meant to be enjoyed, read, and felt. Symbolism and realism an abundant in them, for what makes an intricate story if not visuals that mean one thing but stand for another? I explore death and surrealism to show that life has intricate ties with fantasy. I equally enjoy bringing ‘life’ to my art. Our world is not so different from the world that I create. I argue that surrealistic images are even more representational of life because they contain feelings and emotions that resonate with the viewers. Sometimes life does not have to be photographed the way it is, instead, why not explore the depths of mind and soul and reach for something deeper than reality. I love involving natural things in my theme of art with a tint of unrealistic possibilities. I want my imagery to move beyond the limits of traditional paintings and alternate styles of art. It’ll be unfair if I say I’m in love with one particular form of art. That is because I am in love with the visual representation of stories in my mind. I am in love with the idea of loving and being loved.
To sum it all up, I think there is a particular feeling to every artwork of mine, each one conveys a different story. They are surreal, a fantasy, and a dream yet riddled with reality.

Thank you!
