Irish history
The conquest of Ireland was carried out between 1649 and 1653 by the forces of the English Parliament, led by Oliver Cromwell and his New Model Army during the Wars of the Three Kingdoms. Since the rebellion of 1641, the island of Ireland had been mainly under the control of the "Confederate Irish Catholics", who in 1649 entered into an alliance with the "political party of the English Royalists", the side that supported King Charles I and that they had been defeated in the English Civil War. Finally, Cromwell's forces defeated the "Irish Coalition" and the "Carlists", eventually occupying the country, thus bringing the Confederate wars in Ireland to an end.

GIANTS CAUSEWAY
CORK
Located in County Antrim. Its origin is due to the rapid cooling of volcanic lava that must have remained stagnant in a slope of coastal land, this phenomenon happened about 60 million years ago. According to legend, two giants, the Irish Finn and the Scotsman Bennandoner constantly fought by throwing rocks at each other and formed a bridge with them.
Cork is one of the quietest cities, despite being the second most populous city in Ireland. It is situated at the southwest over the River Lee. Among the main places you can visit is the Victorian Quarter, where the famous McCourtain Street is located. You can take a tour of the English Market, the Shandon neighborhood or even kayak on the River Lee.

Traditional food
CODDLE
This is a typical Dublin recipe, another simple dish to warm up the body. Among its ingredients are potatoes, sausages, bacon and onion. The key is to let it simmer. If we want to give it a special touch, we can accompany it with some thin and well-fried bacon strips that give it a crispy touch.
CARROT CAKE
It is one of the most popular cakes in Ireland. Carrot cake with a sweet flavor and a spicy touch. It also has crushed nuts, cinnamon and a layer of sweet cheese on top that gives it an amazing look and taste.
IRISH STEW
It is a stew of lamb meat (although it can also be veal). In addition to lamb, it has potatoes, onions, carrots and parsley. All ingredients must be left to cook for a long time. This dish can be found in many restaurants and pubs across the country, and is very typical for Saint Patrick's Day.
IRISH BREAKFAST
Breakfast was the most important meal of the day for the Irish. The Irish breackfast consists of fried eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes and mashed potatoes, along with buttered toast and a cup of tea or coffee.
