ISLAM INSUDAN
the majority of sudan identify as Muslim, but christianity & judaism can also be found in some minority communities
one of our favourite Quranic verses
People, We created you all from a single man and a single woman, and made you into races and tribes so that you should get to know one another. In God's eyes, the most honoured of you are the ones most mindful of Him: God is all knowing, all aware.

JIRTIK songs
SUDAN'S MUSIC GENRES & INSTRUMENTS ARE AS DIVERSE AS ITS TRIBES. 'aghani banat' or 'women's songs' which are mainly played at the jirtig or henna parties sing about the beauty of the bride and the love of the newly weds.
In this video, famous singer Ansaf Madani is playing the Daluka (a type of drum).
