Check Water Quality & Performance

System water in the heat pump circuit should be protected to at least -12oC against frost and maintain a Ph level of 6 to 8.5. After running the system, extract a sample of system water and check the current frost protection and Ph level. Top up or replace as necessary.

When operating and max power, the optimal delta T across the primary circuit flow & return should be around 5K Check for any signs of flow restriction or adjust primary pump speed if necessary to achieve sufficient system flow rates
