New York is a city made up of 5 boroughs at the mouth of the Hudson River and the Atlantic Ocean. At its center is Manhattan, a densely populated borough that is among the world's major commercial, financial and cultural centers.

Manhattan is famous because there is a lot of monuments like : One world trade center, Washington Square Arch, Empire State building, Rockfeller center, Saint Patrick's cathedral. Let's talk about a few of them !

St. patrick's cathedral

St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York, built between 1853 and 1878, is an American church located in New York in the Midtown district, in the heart of the borough of Manhattan. Built in the 19th century in a neo-Gothic style to plans by architect James Renwick Jr, the building is located at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 50th Street, a stone's throw from Rockefeller Center and not far from Central Park. It is the main church of the Archdiocese of New York.

The Washington Square Arch is a marble triumphal arch built in 1892 in Washington Square Park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Lower Manhattan in New York City. It celebrates the centennial of George Washington's inauguration as President of the United States in 1789 and forms the grand southern terminus of Fifth Avenue.

Rockfeller center

Rockefeller Center is a shopping complex built by the Rockefeller family consisting of nineteen buildings. It is located in the Midtown district, between 5th Avenue and Avenue of the Americas in the Manhattan borough of New York City. This is where the luxury boutiques of New York are located. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987.there is a fabulous skating rink in Rockefeller Center which is very famous and very lively especially during Christmas

One world trade center

The World Trade Center cross, also known as the Ground Zero cross, is a group of steel beams found among the debris of the World Trade Center site in Lower Manhattan, New York City, following the September 11 attacks in 2001. This set of beams is so named because it resembles the proportions of a Christian cross.

Empire State building

The Empire State Building is an Art Deco-style skyscraper located in the borough of Manhattan, New York. It is located in Midtown at 350 5th Avenue, between 33 and 34 streets. Inaugurated on May 1, 1931, it measures 381 meters and has 102 floors. It is the third building in New York City by height, since 2015 and the construction of 432 Park Avenue.

Gossip girl

The life of the golden youth of the students of two New York private schools: Saint Jude and Constance billard. Seen through the ironic eyes of a mysterious "blogger" nicknamed Gossip Girl. Between love and friendship, everyone tries to do well, but nothing is ever simple behind perfect appearances... The main characters are : Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Nate Archibald, Chuck Bass and Dan Humfrey.

Metropolitan Museum Of Art

The stairs of the MET are the general HQ of Blair Waldorf and his clique who lunch there between classes and tell each other the latest Gossip Girl gossip. If you feel like going further than these stairs, the Metropolitan Museum Of Art is one of the largest art museums in the world and you can get lost in front of the thousands of works stored there. Located in Manhattan, on 5th.

Central park

Central Park, the green lung of New York City appears in many scenes in the series, including the most legendary: The wedding of Blair Waldorf and Chuck Bass in front of the Bethesda fountain. If you want to take a breather and escape all the permanent hustle and bustle of the city, you can lie down on a beautiful green lawn in the sun or cross the bow bridge, the most famous bridge in the park. A real breath of fresh air...
