How do we make the first conditional?
IF ... present simple verb) + WILL* (base form verb)
+ , + If you practice the guitar every day, you will improve. + , + If the little girl pulls the cat's tail, the cat will scratch her. + , + If you are evil, the superheroes will destroy you. + , - If John watches a horror movie, he won't sleep well. + , - If Katie doesn't use sun cream, her skin will burn. + , - If they don't talk loudly, the baby won't wake up.

In place of WILL, we sometimes use BE GOING TO

Answer the questions with complete sentences using the first conditional. Example: What will you do if you are invited to tea with the Queen of England? If I am invited to tea with the Queen of England, I will practice my English!
