* If you don't know how to pronounce ordinal numbers, revise lesson 5
2 solutions:
cardinal nb+ in + cardinal nb Ex 1 = 1/5 : "one in five" Ex 2 = 2/7: "two in seven" Ex 3: 1/2: "one in two" Ex 4 = 1/4 : "one in four"
cardinal nb + ordinal nb* Ex 1 = 1/5 : "one fifth" Ex 2 = 2/7: "two sevenths*" Ex 3 = 1/2 : "(a/one) half" Ex 4 = 1/4 : "a quarter"
Exceptions!
Remember! In English, marks/grades are pronounced differently: Ex 5 = 18/20: "eighteen out of twenty"
* Don't forget the S when there are more than one!
