we're from the uk
The British Isles are made up of: Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland,England and Wales. The United Kingdom includes: Northern Ireland, Scotland, England and Wales. Great Britain incorporates Scotland, England and Wales.
The adjective for the UK is “British”.
Great Britain is the big island it includes England, Scotland, and Wales.
The Republic of Ireland is not part of the UK, but worth including here because it is very entangled in this mess of names and identities. Ireland, like “Britain”, has 2 different meanings depending on context.
