Wrap-up
Meet Thinglink
Thinglink is a tool that enables you to make images or videos interactive by embedding additional information, links, and multimedia content. Thinglink enables any teacher to bring augmented resources and virtual reality into their classroom - including those who may not have much experience with either.
How does Thinglink work?
- Use the ThingLink Library to find and "clone" images
- Upload your own images and videos
- Add text tags, embeddable media, background music, narration, and more using the ThingLink editor
- That's it! That's all there is to it!
ThingLink can be used in a variety of ways, from purely display purposes to immersive assignments to interactive projects created by students themselves!
How can Thinglink be used in remote learning?
Virtual Learning Spaces
Interactive Media
Virtual Learning Experiences
Foster connections by designing a virtual version of your classroom or a creative learning space for resources, activities, announcements, and more.
Create resources your students can use both synchronously and asynchronously, using media found online or the anchor charts currently hanging in your classroom.
Recreate experiences outside the classroom from the comfort of your desk. Exploration doesn't stop just because the school buses have!

Thinglink & Google Classroom
Sign in using your Google account and invite other teachers using their Gmail addresses. If you have a subscription, students can also sign in using Google and join your class with an invite code.
Share content directly to Google Classroom as links in assignments, materials, announcements, or questions.
Embed Google Apps such as YouTube, Maps, Forms, Slides, and Docs into Thinglink projects. If it has an embed code, it can integrate with Thinglink!
Top Tips
1. Use Canva to make Thinglink backgrounds -- it's fully integrated!2. Embed, embed, embed. 3. Recording your voice goes a long way. 4. Store virtual spaces as Materials at the top of Google Classroom. 5. Download the app!
