Suggestion of Engineering controls – Engineering control is the next way in this hierarchy. Next suggestion, install a barrier on the foot switch. in this way, the user will not be as easy as stepping on the foot switch when busy doing work using the machine. In this way too, the user is always alert and will remember that there is foot switch that need to be paid attention to so as not to have any such accidents that have already occurred.

Means of Administrative controls – Administrative controls are training, procedure, policy, or shift designs that lessen the threat of a hazard to an individual. Administrative controls typically change the behaviour of people (factory workers) rather than removing the actual hazard or providing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Suggestion of administrative controls – Administrative controls are among the less efficient ways but can be done to give some awareness to employees. Admin should give a brief usage briefing to the user or employee who uses the machine. Admin also need to put up signage stating that users need to be careful when operating the machine. People in charge also needs to put the machine user manual so that the user knows how to use the machine in the right way.

Means of PPE – PPE is protective clothing, helmets, goggles, or other garments or equipment designed to protect the wearer's body from injury or infection. The hazards addressed by protective equipment include physical, electrical, heat, chemicals, biohazards, and airborne particulate matter. Protective equipment may be worn for job-related occupational safety and health purposes, as well as for sports and other recreational activities. Protective clothing is applied to traditional categories of clothing, and protective gear applies to items such as pads, guards, shields, or masks, and others. PPE suits can be similar in appearance to a cleanroom suit.
Suggestion of PPE – PPE is the last resort in this hierarchy. safety clothing should be appropriate to the work situation. For example, workers should wear goggles so that no dust enters the eyes or should wear safety shoes so as not to step on the material left on the floor.
Occupier/employer should assess the machinery used in the workplace and ensure its safe use:
The machine’s dangerous parts must be securely guarded.
The electric foot switch was properly shrouded to prevent accidental activation.
The electric foot switch was disconnected from the electrical control box when the power press was operated by the 2-hand controls
All modifications to existing machine should be approved by the manufacturer.
Employer should ensure its employees are instructed on the dangers in connection with the machine operation sand the precautions to be observed before of operation.
Employers should ensure its employees have attended the mandatory safety and health training
