On successful completion of the week, students will be able to: - Knowledge and Understanding 1. Demonstrate their understanding of theories, models, and concepts in economics. 2. Demonstrate their understanding of the relationship between microeconomics and macroeconomics. Subject-specific Skills 3. Critically apply knowledge and understanding to a variety of contemporary business scenarios. 4. Evaluate the role and purpose of microeconomic and macroeconomic policy and its impact on the behaviour and performance of business activity and economic systems. Key and Employability Skills 5. Think logically and to identify the problems related to economics. 6. Critically evaluate and reflect on the problem-solving process. 7. Engage in discussion and review of controversial issues both orally and in writing.
