Simple Present Continuous Tense

What is the definition?
This type of tense is a form of sentence that is used to express an ongoing event for a certain time (now).
This form indicates that the action occurs before (begins before), during (is in progress at the present), and continues after (continues after) time or other actions.
Present Continuous Tense Formula (+) : Subjek + be (am/is/are) + verb (-ing) + O
(-) : Subjek +be (am/is/are) + not + verb (-ing) + O
(?) : Be (am/is/are) + subjek + verb (-ing) + O?
Notes:
- am used for subject (I)
- Are used for subject (They, We, You)
- Is used for subject (She, He, It, name)
Use Of Simple Present Continuous Tense
To indicate an action that is in progress and is happening now
Example :
I am writing this letter to express my feelings to you.
To talk about the action that happened around the time of the talk
Example :
Arnold is taking five classes this semester.
To talk about a plan that will definitely happen in the near future
Example :
She is spending her holiday in Bangkok next week.
