food is physically broken into smaller pieces. It also includes the chewing of food in the outh and its churning by the stomach.
What nutrients are we going to have in our body from food that we eat?
Carbohydrates are the main source of energy such as potatoes, rice, and bread).
Proteins are nutrients that the body needs for growth and tissue repair such as meat and eggs.
Fats are the nutrients that provide to help and body store some vitamins. Unsaturated fats include corn, soybean oils, fish and nuts. Saturated fats can associated with igh levels of blood cholesterol that contirbute to heart disease.
Cholesterol is a waxy-flat like substance found only in animal products. Meat and dairy products contains relatively large amount of saturated fats.
Vitamins and minerals. Vitamins act as helper molecules in a variety of chemical reaction in te body. MInerals are nutrients that are present in soil and are absirbed by plants through thier roots.
Water is the amount abundant substance in our body.
