ABOUT....

Even if the most popular story about her is that she was the first wife of Adam - she is way older than that. She is a very old deity, appearing in the Sumerian pantheon even, usually helping women with healing and childbirth. Lilitu wasn't the spirits who fed on children - they help the children and protected them instead. There are many mentions for her, but she and her sisters usually help to recreate the human souls and bring their own transformation to the human.
