Statistics of Net Profit
Market Analysis Summary
$ 140,000.00
Coffee is the second largest commodity market next to oil, and growth is expected to continue at a strong pace for the foreseeable future. The specialty beverage industry is growing at an equally strong pace, with sales growth in some categories projected to grow at rates of 40% per year. This growth offers excellent opportunities for new companies to enter this market, and we are excited about the possibilities of what The Coffee Warehouse can accomplish in the Spokane and Northern Idaho market.
We plan to grow as shown in the chart below, taken from our sales forecast. We aim to maintain an industry-standard 60% gross profit margin and reasonable operating expenses, and to produce reasonable profits in the second and third year.

Post Covid-19
How I run my bussiness during Covid-19 Pandemic ?
Few industries experienced the devastating impact of COVID-19 as acutely as the coffee industry. Many of us watched in absolute horror as our favourite coffee shops were forced to close their doors as part of the lockdown measures, many of them permanently. As a result, an industry that many consider a huge part of their social lives is now struggling to stay afloat. Every day, we hear of another coffee spot that has gone out of business, unable to cope with the lack of a proper revenue stream. We hear of another round of retrenchments, as coffee houses battle to keep their businesses alive.

The Impact...
Consumer Might Change Their Coffee Consumption Preference
Threat of Decreased Consumer Spending
Social Distanding
Consumer spending has been lower than expected, with many people sticking to online shopping or cutting down on small purchases. It means that sales could be slow to recover, even after lockdowns are lifted.
Other customers might look for cost-effective ways to enjoy specialty coffee by seeking out more affordable options. In both instances, coffee shops could grow their pool of loyal customers by encouraging more consumption of both.
For coffee shops still offering takeaway coffee, social distancing measures must be observed

SWOT
The coffee shop business is a very profitable venture. According to an estimate, people drink approximately 2.5 billion cups of coffee every day around the world. Experts say that the figure would increase to 67% by the end of 2022. The interesting fact about coffee and other ready-to-drink business is that they’re resistant and can survive easily in the volatile markets.
