Student interview checklist
Inform the Learner
cHECK THE SPREADSHEET
Amend the spreadsheet
Check the spreadsheet on Office 365 and allocate yourself to some interviews (dependent on your contracted hours).
Once you have sent the Text Magic amend the spreasheet with date and time. Now would be a good time to check the student's application for their details.
Textmagic or email the learner the time and date of their interview. Textmagic is more successful. Email Kath Takacs if you need an account.

Carry out the interview. Remember to ask the learner why they wish to do the course and that you discuss the right course review process. Remember to advise of work placement and required hours (150 in year 1, 315 in year 2).
Before you submit the application check that you have all the details. The application forms get submitted to the applications team. Ensure learning support are aware of all EHCP and learning needs.
Update the spreadsheet with the outcome of the interview. Green = offer made and accepted, yellow = an element needs a follow up, red = no offer or withdrawn.
