simple present tense vs simple past tense
Before starting I want you to ask what could be the difference between them?How were both used?
Simple present tense
We use the simple present tense when an action is happening right now, or when it happens regularly.
I read a book.
It uses auxiliaries do or does for writing negative or interrogative sentences.
Simple past tense
The simple past tense shows that you are talking about something that has already happened.

How are we supposed to recognize them? By using expressions of time.
