Reading Comprehension

Hi! My name is Tomy, I'm 14 and I am from Spain.

Last summer my family and I decided to go on holidays to London.

Arriving

We stayed there for three days in a very nice hotel. It was located in the centre of the city so it was easy to get to the different places.

That's a picture of the hotel. Nice, isn't it?

On the first day we toured London on a red double-decker bus. We loved the ride! It was incredible! Then, in the afternoon, we visited the Tower of London. We had to wait for a long time in a queue, but when we entered, a real Beefeater greeted us. We took a photo with him. Look...

1st day

On the second day, we watched the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.Then, we crossed the beautiful Westminster Bridge to look at the famous Big Ben and the London Eye. There were so many people there... all wanted to take pictures...

3rd day

On the third day my family and I walked down Oxford Street and Regent Street. There, you can find a lot of different shops where you can buy almost anything.After that, we took the underground and went to Madame Tussaud's Museum. In this museum, we could see many celebrities made out of wax. It was amazing! I think it was my favourite place!

We also tried the typical food from London. In the fist picture you can see a full English breakfast, and, in the second one, the most famous meal in this place: fish and chips.It was delicious!
