NUTRITION
We need nutrition to make our bodies work. Four human body systems perform the vital function of nutrition. These are:
Digestive system
Circulatory system
Respiratory system
Excretory system
REPRODUCTION
Human beings make other human beings with the reproductive system. We perform the reproduction function with the female and male reproductive systems.

LOOKING AFTER OUR BODY
We need to have healthy habits to stay healty and grow correctly. These habits include:
- Keeping clean
- Getting enough sleep
- Doing regular exercise
- Eating a healthy balanced diet
LOOKING AFTER OUR BODY
A healthy diet includes nutrients from all the food groups. We also need to drink six to eight glasses of water a day.
The nutrient groups are:
- Fats
- Carbohydrates
- Fibre
- Proteins
- Minerals and vitamins
- Dairy
We need to eat five meals every day:
- Breakfast
- A mid-morning snack
- Lunch
- A mid-afternoon snack
- Dinner
