The first airplane in history was invented 100 years ago in 1923. The Wright brothers made one of humans' dreams come true. They managed to create a faster form of transport capable of transporting people and wares from one place to another.
THE DISCOVERY OF ANTIBIOTICS
Not everyone knows that this discovery was by chance and, to this day, it is one of the most important in history.
In 1929 Fleming published his findings on penicillin. Despite the importance of the news, the discovery went unnoticed until 1943 when the penicillin underwent clinical trials.
Its first large-scale use was during World War II to treat wounded soldiers
In 1945, the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded to Sir Alexander Fleming, Ernst Boris Chain and Sir Howard Walter Florey for the discovery of penicillin and its healing effect on various infectious diseases.
We have to thank Fleming for his discovery because if he hadn’t discovered the penicillin, we wouldn’t be here.
After summer, Fleming started cleaning dirty Petri dishes in which he had been experimenting with some bacterias specifically, Staphylococcus aureus, and Fleming found out something strange in one of them: there was mold growth, and around it a halo free of bacteria. That mold gave off a substance capable of inhibiting bacterial growth.
Fleming immediately isolated the fungus and tested its effectiveness against various types of bacteria. Charles Tom identified the fungus as Penicillium notatum and Fleming called this substance: penicillin.
THE DISCOVERY OF ANTIBIOTICS

Not everyone knows that this discovery was by chance and, to this day, it is one of the most important in history.
Alexander Fleming was a bacteriology teacher in St.Mary’s Hospital in London during 1928. It was summer and Fleming wanted to go on vacation as soon as possible, and the thing is he went on vacation without cleaning up the laboratory.
THE DISCOVERY OF INTERNET
On 20 July of 1989, the internet reached Spain for the first time
Unless the internet weren't invented, we wouldn't have this knowledge about everything that is happening in the world.
The authentic origin of the Internet dates back to 1958. The United States founded the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network through the Ministry of Defense.
It was created by Leonard Kleinrock (engineer, scientist…) It known in communication networks
Almudena Marín Herrera
The word Internet has its origin in INTERconnected NETworks.
In the middle of the cold war, the United States created an exclusively military network, with the aim that, in the hypothetical case of a Russian attack, military information could be accessed from anywhere in the country
THE DISCOVERY OF PLANE
Lourdes Delgado Santos
There were two potential markets for airplanes, military flights and aerobatic flights, which made a lot of money. Commercial passenger air transport began in Germany with the Zeppelin airships that were used from 1910 until the beginning of World War I.
For those who could afford it, it was a relatively harrowing experience. The two passengers, crammed across from each other in what was a machine-gunner's adapted cabin, couldn't even hear each other thinking because of the engine noise and the roar of the wind. Many improvements were required before commercial flights became a true alternative.
The first airplane in history was invented 100 years ago in 1923. The Wright brothers made one of humans' dreams come true. They managed to create a faster form of transport capable of transporting people and wares from one place to another. Since then the aeronautical industry has been developing quickly.
Nowadays the airplane is not only considered one of the most important technological inventions, but also the most influential creation in mobility and transport after the wheel.
In 1933, Donald Douglas introduced the 12 passenger airplane, with heaters and noise proof. But it was not until 1935, the date of the test flight.
The most successful airliner in history that everything went well, with room for 21 passengers, it incorporated practically all the advances of aeronautical engineering of the time. Passengers flocked and trips were forever changed.
THE DISCOVERY OF CLEOPATRA'S TOMB
Laura Peinado Cano
The location of Cleopatra's final resting place has been a subject of much speculation and remains tempting. I wish had found Cleopatra's grave
Archeologists try to solve one of the great enigmas of archeology: the location of the tomb of the last queen of pharaonic Egypt. The events suggest that it could be found under the waters of the old Alejandría port or also hidden in the sands of the desert, next to the temple "Taposiris magna". Look for cleopatra's footprints through the images of Kenneth Garret and christoph Gerigk.
Cleopatra’s VII was the last queen of the Ptolian dynasty, who ruled Egypt between 69 a.c and 30 a.c. She was known for her intelligence and sentimental relationships, she had children witch Julio César and with Marco Antonio. However, the place where her grave is located remains a mystery
