Introduction

Dumping plastic into the environment causes serious damage to nature, the vast majority of plastic products spread easily and since they do not belong to biodegradation and ends up polluting the environment..

Pollution in the oceans

  • Plastic waste reaches the oceans in various ways, either from land or from boats, to later be carried away by ocean currents and winds.

Pollution of land and air has proven to be detrimental to marine life and its habitats. 80% of marine pollution comes from the land.

Loss of marine biodiversity

Decrease in oxygen and acidification of the waters

Danger to human health

Consequences of marine pollution

Microplastic propagation

Tourist reduction

Ecological imbalance

POLLUTION ON EARTH

For this reason, all the species that feed on that water and plants will end badly.

When plastic falls on the ground, toxic substances are released that damage the properties of the soil and end up seeping into the subsoil, damaging groundwater and soil nutrients.

CONSEQUENCES OF SOIL POLLUTION

Damage to health

Climate change

Population displacements

Disappearance of species

Worse crops

Water and air pollution

HOW TO SAVE OUR PLANET?

1- EAT IN A SUSTAINABLE WAY Food production is one of the main drivers of wildlife extinction.

2- REDUCE YOUR WASTE We need to make the waste of our resources unacceptable in all aspects of our life.

3- CONSERVE WATER The less water you use, the less runoff and wastewater that eventually ends up in the ocean.

4- PLANT A TREE Trees provide food and oxygen. They help save energy, clean the air, and help fight climate change.

5- USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OR BICYCLE Driving less reduces CO2 levels in the air.
