How do you know if the body of water is a river?
If yes to all questions, it is a river! -Does the body of water start from an area that is higher than the end? -Does the body of water end at another body of water (typically a lake)? - Do the sides border land, and other sides boarder water bodies?

Lake: "a body of fresh or salt water of considerable size, surrounded by land" Pond: a body of water smaller than a lake, sometimes artificially formed, as by damming a stream.

Glaciers are sometimes also called icebergs or rivers of ice. Maybe you have heard these terms from movies or the people around you.
How do I know if a body of water is a Glacier?
if you answer yes to the questions, the body of water is a Glacier! - Is a a huge icepatch/cube that does not melt even in the summer?
Mountains & Hills

Mountains: a natural elevation of the earth's surface rising more or less abruptly to a summit, and attaining an altitude greater than that of a hill, usually greater than 2,000 feet (610 meters). Hill: a natural elevation of the earth's surface, smaller than a mountain

How do you know the landform is a mountain/ hill
If the answer is yes to all of the questions, then the landform is a mountain: -Does the landform have a peak? -Is it higher than 1,000 to 2,000 feet? f the answer is yes to all of the questions, then the landform is a hill: -Is the landform higher than plains, but lower than 1,000 to 2,000 feet?
Caves & Cliffs
Cave: "a hollow in the earth, especially one opening more or less horizontally into a hill, mountain, etc." Cliff: "a high steep face of a rock."

What is the difference between an ice caves/ glacier cave and a cave you would find in the rocks? Where can you find caves?

Native Americans lived all across America before the European settlers came to America. How did they use caves?

If the answer to the questions is yes, then it is a cave: - Does the landform have a passage that goes into a mountain or glacier? -Was the form created by erosion? -Is there pointy rocks sticking up from the ground or coming out of the ceiling? If the answer to the questions is yes, then it is a cliff: - Does a mountain side drop off to where there is a vertical wall?

Plains: "Mainly US extensive tracts of level or almost level treeless countryside; prairies"

If the answer is yes to the question, then the landform is a Valley! - Is the landform a V or U shaped low point between a mountain? If the answer is yes to the question, then the landform is a Canyon! - Does the landform look like a valley, but has steeper sides or cliffs and is deeper than a valley?
