Objectives of the lesson:

Aims of teaching this lesson: •By the end of this lesson, the students must be able to: 1-To identify and learn about different illnesses. 2- To learn how to offer help to someone feeling ill. 3-To express empathy. 4-To identify the parts of the body. 5- To know what the parts of the body does. 6- To read and speak about the part of the body.

• Review: Greet the class saying good morning. Say the numbers 20 to 100. • Warm up: -Review the question, How many ……. are there? -Revise asking with how tall and how long

Steps to follow:

B)Language:

•What is the matter? & I have a headache/cold / cough. . I feel sick This is my skin/heart / bone / stomach. It protects/ pumps / helps/ digests.

Presentation:

• A)Vocabulary: new words: cold - cough- fever – sick headache – ok- get-anything – glass of water- medicine_ nose- heart – hand – arm -body – bone- skin- stomach – pump –blood – protect – digest- help_ move. • I will teach the words using flash cards. I will get them to play a game, listen and point to the picture

Practice:

I write some MCQ questions on the board then I choose some students to go and answer on the board. They write sentences about how do they feel. They form pair work one student asks a question to the student next him then the next student answers. They act the scene. Here the teacher guides them and interfere when necessity.
