Mya

  • Role: CEO/Marketing Head
  • Strengths: Promoting, Business, Marketing, Finance
  • Responsbility: My repsonsbility to the group is to make the app reach out to the real world. I have been appointed to promote the app on a grand scale which will bring the real output of the app. Also, as the owner of this app it is my responsbility to mange my team in all roles and support them whenever they need my guidance and information about the app.

  • Responsbility: I'm the technical side of the project, I have the reponsbility to create the app and also maintaing the updates and fix the bugs of the app.

Suhas

  • Role: Bookeeper
  • Strengths: Minute taking, presentations, python, creativity
  • Responsbility: My role in the group offers to maintain the documentation of the project and make presentations for the sprint meetings. I also play the role of supporting the two roles and take the necessary notes which they want to be remembered about

What is the project?

  • The project is a budgeting app which helps the user take control of their finances. At the moment contactless payments have allowed spending upto £100 per store. However, we have found that there is gap in the market for limiting spending within a day, week or month which our app will fill.
  • This is an essential tool to help people who overspend and help them make their financial decisions wisely. This makes the users avoid disappointment and stress over their financial status.
  • The slogan for our app is "Together we can make money managment easier than ever". This helps the user motivate themselves to use the app to save their money and control their spending.

User Stories + Acceptance Criteria

User Story 1

  • This is the output of the money limit as it shows the balance for the set period of time. This is the money which will be limted for the set period of time to the user so it avoids overspending as everyones urges to buy something even they don't need it. This type of functionality keeps the control on their finance and make sure they are saving money at all times.

User Story 2

Instagram Page

  • The Instagram page is going to be used as an interactivity platform with the users. All the posts/updates will go up on here. The Instagram page will make sure that the attention of the app won't be lost and people will be coming back to the app by seeing the update posts.

Website

  • This a prototype of our website which is still in progress. This would include all the information about the app and it would act up as connectivity platform between us and the users, where they would write their enquires here. We have included a single click access to the users who can access our Instagram page or get our email address in order to email us. We also added a direct link to their app store for them to download the app.

Logo

  • The colour of the logo reperesents calmness and professionalism of the app sending positive vibes to the users
  • The text and little icon is an unique blend and has dynamic underlying message. It indicates that our app is the king/the best of the best of the financal apps and offers what the users wants in a budgeting app
  • The overall layout is pretty simple yet impactful which catches the eyes instantly and not confuse the users

Email

  • The email is going to be used as an communication platform between us and the users. Their enquires will come to our Smart Spend outlook which we would respond back to them via the email addressing their concern/enquiry. This would add the personal touch to the app and the users as it would make them feel that they have some sort of right to ensure that the app is functionable and can be better than before for them to use
