Ateez officially starts on October 24th 2018, but they were first announced on July 3rd, he debuts with their first mini album TREASURE EP. 1: All To Zero. The group is composed of 8 members: Hongjoong(leader); Seonghwa; Jungho; Yunho; Yeosang; San; Wooyoung and Mingi. (Presentation of each member by clicking on the small interactive circle).

Kim Hongjoong, the leader of the Ateez group, was born on 23 October 1998 (23 years), he is a rapper and dancer, he starts in 2017 in a television show called Mixnine then in 2018 makes his appearance as the leader of Ateez. Hongjoong has for model G-Dragon (of bigbang) and Zico (of Block-B), he is 1m72 and has Korean nationality. He composes and finds words.

Mingi

Song Mingi, born on 09 August 1999 (22 years), to start in 2017 in the same show as Hongjoong (Mixnine), is the main rapper of Ateez, measures 1m83 and is of South Korean nationality. His models are Rain (solo artist) and Park Jae Beom (known as Jay Park).

Seonghwa

Park Seonghwa born on April 03, 1998, is a singer of Ateez, he is 1m78 and is of Korean nationality , with San and Yunho they were part of a "group"(group created for the imitation drama) and have released only a digital single.

Jongho

Choi Jongho born on 12 October 2000 (21 years) is the main singer (maknae) of Ateez, he also participated in Mixnine and was part of the "group" Shax (temporary group created in the imitation drama). It measures 1m76 and is of South Korean nationality. Its model is Jungkook (BTS).Jongho impressed the fans during the performance of Wonderland in the kingdom

Yunho

Jung Yunho 23 March 1999 (22 years), he is a principal dancer and singer, he was part of a group with San and Jungho: sparkling a group created for the imitation drama, he is 1m86, he is of South Korean nationality.

Yeosang

Kang Yeo-sang was born on 15 June 1999 (22 years), he is a singer and dancer, he is of South Korean nationality. We have no more info.

San

Choi San was born on 10 July 1999, he is called the "fake maknae" of the band, he was also part of the Sparkling project (a short-lived group created for the imitation drama with Seonghwa and Yunho), he is 1m73 and is of South Korean nationality. Known for his "demonic" look when he dances.

Wooyoung

Jeong Woo-young born on November 26, 1999 (22 years), is a dancer and singer, he is 1m72 and is of South Korean nationality, he is a former trainee of BigHit entertainement, his models are Jimin (of BTS) and Gi Kwang ( of Highlight)

How did they become known?

To start as most of the bands of K-pop (Korean pop) this one is promoted by his agency even before their debut, they were known as "KQ fellaz" in reference to their agencies are called KQ.

As soon as their first EP is released, they become popular, they are present on all social networks and their music/tour is quickly sold.

The fan club of Ateez known as Atiny, allows to promote the band in another way, this one can use word of mouth to make the band talk.

And today ? Who are they?

Today Ateez is one of the many key k-pop bands today they are more than 2 million listeners per month on spotify, more than 2.5 million on youtube, and he is preparing a world tour for 2022, We can say that this young group still has many things to live with, and plenty of opportunities to evolve.
