management officers

Consular officers work at consulates, or offices of one country in another country, issuing visas and helping out when any problems arise overseas. Though you work with travelers, you're more of a police officer than a travel agent.

Public diplomacy promotes a good image of a state or a state leader and it’s beneficial for long term aims, attracting investments, overall good image, and sometimes tourism.

Management Officers are action-oriented “go to” leaders responsible for all embassy operations from real estate to personnel to budgets

Where do you want your profession to take you?

When did an important innovation in your profession occur?

The Declaration of Independence, 1776. The Declaration's most important diplomatic effect was to allow for recognition of the United States by friendly foreign governments.
