Use them to talk about future
To talk about future we can use different grammar constructions, it depends on what we want to express.

Present Progressive for future plans.
We usually use future time expressions: later, on Monday, at night, in the afternoon, at "hour".
We use the Present Progressive to talk about the things that are happening NOW or at this moment. Jhon is in the park Now. He is climbing a tree. We can also use Present progressive to talk about Future Plans and arrangements (appointments). E.g I'm seeing the Doctor this afetrnoon. _ this is a plan, an appointment. (definite plans at a specific moment, hour) I'm taking my piano lesson at 8:00 o' clock.

Present Progressive
Pattern: Affirmative Subject + Verb To be + Verb in continuous action + Extra information. Negative Subject + Verb to be Not + Verb in continuous action + Extra information. Interrogative Verb to be+ Subject + Verb in continuous action+ Extra information.

Future using Will
We use will to talk about things we think are certain to happen in the Future. I'm sure I will earn a lot of money next year. I think We won't travel to Japan this year. We use expressions like: I think I hope I'm sure, when using will.
We use Will for : Predictions Spontaneous decisions promises resolutions no plan, no intention.

Pattern: Affirmative Subject + Will + Verb in simple form + extra Information Negative Subject + will not + Verb in simple form + extra information. won't Interrogative Will + Subject+ Verb in simple form + extra Information.
We can also use May and Might for future.
We use may and might to talk about Future possibilities. E.g
- It may rain tomorrow.(I'm not sure)
- We might have a posada. (I guess but I'm not sure)
- I may/ might buy some new trainers tomorrow, mine are very old.
- Sophia is feeling ill, She may not/might not go to school.
May and might
We don't usually use May or might to ask questions about future possibilities, in that case we use Will. What will you bring for luch tomorrow? I may/might bring a sandwich.
